Synopsis
After 37 years, the canals of Amsterdam are once again turning blood red. Tara Lee is a young ambitious detective with the Amsterdam police force who is confronted by a number of gruesome incidents around the canals. She enlists the help of Visser, a retired detective who once nabbed a serial killer stalking those same canals. They face an adversary who seems to possess superhuman powers.

Perhaps my expectation were low because of The Very Bad reviews but I actually enjoyed myself. I do not understand the hate towards this movie. Yes some of the dialog was terrible, but not that crazy bad. Acting was decent enough, aside Tara her (assistant? Partner?) who could maybe take some Acting lessons, or perhaps just not accept such role. The sponsorship in the movie did go over the top though. I'm assuming Heineken and Yamaha paid a large chunk of the budget.
