Synopsis
An Orange County teenager's carefree life of ditching class and skateboarding abandoned pools comes to a screeching halt when someone close to him dies. The cops rule the death a suicide, but the bereaved skater believes he was murdered. It's up to him to solve the case, with a skateboard.

It's basically skateboarding Gymkata, 'cept it's just Slater trying to avenge his brother. Very 90's, cheesy, and lame. C. Slate learned how to skateboard and really tears it up here. A novelty and gimmick, but an interesting one that holds your attention for most of the runtime. Gleaming the Cube, Shredding the Gnar-Gnar, duude!

Not all heroes wear capes, some ride skateboards. I love these 80s style movies, this is one of the better ones.
