Four strangers become friends. Four friends become heroes. On the road to Silverado.
Four unwitting heroes cross paths on their journey to the sleepy town of Silverado. Little do they know the town where their family and friends reside has been taken over by a corrupt sheriff and a murderous posse. It's up to the sharp-shooting foursome to save the day, but first they have to break each other out of jail, and learn who their real friends are.

This might be my favorite western movie of all time. A stellar cast, a great story...it even made me believe that Kevin Kline could be a cowboy, and a pretty kick a** one at that! Great musical theme by Bruce Broughton that I can still listen to and enjoy 30+ years later. Worth taking the time to watch it!
Expected more because of the cast and crew, however this movie takes no risks, pretty standard story no attempts at exceptionality. Still a good western though (for what it worth).
Not too bad for an 80s production but still, quite roughly made. A poor man's Tombstone.
In 1985, Lawrence Kasdan gave the world Silverado. The best movie I had ever seen as a kid, and STILL one of my all-time favorites. It has everything a western should have. Gunfights, saloons, horses, stampedes, and of course a lot of fun. The story is great, the acting is great, and it has an excellent score by Bruce Broughton. Just about everything about this movie is great. Silverado is a great movie, and is probably the movie I'll mention if anyone asks what movie is my favorite of all time.
Years without seeing her. We were surprised how good it sounds. Good script, actors and direction, all western topics covered, only the Indians have been missing
