I prefer the French language original, but this movie does deserve the terrible reputation it has either. This is fairly mediocre.

The US version of french movie "Taxi" is much worse than the original. Still, it's a fast and funny action flick, but only because the ripped-off story from the original "Taxi" movie is so great. BTW: This movie is called "NY Taxi" in Europe.

Funny and good movie, watched it a second time and for sure not gonna forget about it

Omg. They did it again. They took a French success comedy and ruined it. What were they thinking? The movie is called Taxi, because the taxi is the star. Here they force one or two taxi scenes in in oder not to do completely without it. Then they seem not to be able to decide whether they want it to be a comedy out a serious movie. Everyone seems to be afraid to be uncool. And they already fail in all respects by the mediocre at best acting performances. In general, the story makes little sense and beside a few decent moments, this movie is to be forgotten. Watch the French originals, especially the first two. Note that the French series had to get to movie number 5 to become as bad as what the Americans have delivered in their first attempt. A shame, as the idea does have potential, even in America. As is, forget it.
