Undependable. Unpredictable. Unforgettable.
Grady is a 50-ish English professor who hasn't had a thing published in years—not since he wrote his award winning 'Great American Novel' 7 years ago. This weekend proves even worse than he could imagine as he finds himself reeling from one misadventure to another in the company of a new wonder boy author.

Great cast, great acting, a weird story … I though do not really see the point why they made this movie. What is really the story? There are several interesting characters and some more or less relevant storylines, but I lack to see one main storyline relevant enough to carry the movie alone. Curiously, the movie is still fascinating and catchy. It is really mostly about the brilliant performances by the top-notch cast.
A worthwhile film. I miss seeing Michael Douglas in good roles.
