In 1889, seventeen men die under mysterious circumstances, and spooked by recent events, the miners who populate the town leave in droves until there's nothing left but a shell of a community.

Strangely enough, I felt like this one recaptured some of the charm the first one had. It's not perfect or anything but it's certainly charming.
I thought the concept was good and I love seeing J.E. Freeman because of "Miller's Crossing", but this series is on the skid. I am surprised because this was the last film of the original writers. I suspect this was made when they learned the Western sets at the studio were free and open to use. Just my guess.
The statue is one of the best bits in this entire franchise 😂
