Outland is basically High Noon in space. I’ve always enjoyed this one and really like Frances Sternhagen’s role. It has the gritty industrial feel popularized by Alien. Worth a watch if you’re a sci-fi fan.

Why Sean Connery features in this horrible movie I've absolutely no idea. It's just plain stupid and boring. Keep away from this crap!

I believe that this movie is underrated, mainly du to the fact that it came out within the Star Wars hype where people expected lasers and sound in space. While the story of Outland is a quite straightforward cop story, I do like Connery in his role. I also really like the set design, which still feels quite realistic for a major outer space mining station. Good entertainment that feels timeless.
