Whatever You Do, Don't Answer The Phone.
Far away from the site of a gruesome murder, a teenager named Jill Johnson arrives at a luxurious home for a baby-sitting job. With the children fast asleep, she settles in for what she expects to be an ordinary evening. Soon, the ringing of a phone and the frightening words of a sadistic caller turn Jill's routine experience into a night of terror.

Quite a decent film, could have been a little more tense, but enjoyable.
As a remake it comes off as more a Scream rip-off. With how the killer on the phone sounds. Though I say this as someone who never saw the original. This still still feels like it was even made because of the popularity of Scream. Or at least has a main character who should have watched Scream. The caller, calls with her friends phone and that doesn’t even make her worried about her friend too. She’s a frustrating character too
wow so bad after watching the original
A thriller how I like them. Leaves a lot to the mind, plot builds up nicely in just the right pace toward a great ending. Not the best movie on the planet but a seriously good thriller. Skip all the gore, let your mind fill in the blanks.
> "Sometimes he doesn't even say anything... he just keeps on calling." Didn't know this was a remake so I had nothing to compare it to. There are some cool camera tricks, so I will give them that, but I would say it is a regular ol' bad guy-is-in-the-house thriller. Nothing really too special, but works.
