A bit slow-going in places, but the verdant Amazonian environment was on hand to take up any slack. A bit of strange story, like a mix between Heart of Darkness, Avatar, and The Emerald Forest. I sense it exists in the Brazilian production as some audiovisual warding off of Bolsonaro.

There's a lot to admire here, but I think it doesn't quite come together. The story isn't engaging enough, the pacing is nonexistent, and I can't imagine the conclusion will satisfy anyone.

For the most part I really enjoyed the series. Unfortunately the end was completely unsatisfying for me. It was like they painted themselves into a corner they didn't know how to get out of.
