This was was okay for those who loves Overpowered MC, but story wise it sucks. The light comedy was amusing but not laughable. First half was still fine but the second half was too much rushed with all that
engagement thing
. I would definitely like to watch another season if they fixed up the story a bit.
I'm just watching this on the side (dubbed even) but dang, it's worse and more clichéd than I expected. Hard to believe someone would actually produce this.
What can I say? I’m a sucker for “OP MC for no reason” anime. The fights and effects are beautiful, even if the story isn’t anything special. Anyone who enjoys this type of anime will surely love it. Also worth mentioning, the antagonist’s motivations are rather justifiable. Now it’s just the waiting room for Season 2.
I forgot to leave a review for this on my first watch, but I was happy for the excuse to watch it again. There are few characters more OP than Shin Wolford.... The only two that come close are Cid Kagenou from 'Eminence and Shadow', and Prince Lloyd de Saloum from 'Reincarnated as the Seventh Prince'.... Both elite animes in their own rights, imo... This show may not have the animation quality to compete with those two, but man there are some big time pluses to this show. Prince August von Earlshide may be the most realistic best friend in any anime show... I can't ever recall seeing such a natural dynamic between the MC and their best friend in anime. Shins' grandparents are also absolutely wonderful, and even though they are both OP, they never steal their grandson's shine. All the relationships in this show are fantastic, from the blossoming relationship with Sicily, to the more mundane relationships with his classmates.... There is no interpersonal drama in this one, even though so many new relationships are formed. I've got my fingers firmly crossed that we get more of this, while the animation is only slightly above average, the magic use is insane, and the MC's creativity with magic use is top tier.
Shins training camp to save the world. Kill the demonoids!
