Als Krisenmanager und Vermittler bei Geiselnahmen kennt er sich mit Extremsituationen aus, in denen die meisten Menschen völlig überfordert sind. Sobald ein Unternehmen oder eine Regierungsbehörde ein entsprechendes Problem hat, wird Eric Beaumont gerufen, um sich mit den verzwickten Situationen auseinanderzusetzen. Er versteht die Logik der Kriminellen und kann diese daher mit Leichtigkeit manipulieren, sodass die Verluste am Ende im überschaubaren Bereich bleiben. Doch was passiert, wenn sich Eric Beaumont bei einer Operation verkalkuliert?

While I don't necessarily disagree with the negative posts about this show I still find it strangely compelling. It could have been so much more than it is though. One of those shows you need to judge for yourself I think. I certainly won't miss it when it ends, but I will keep up with it while its on.
Kidnappers with really bad fake Russian accents, mediocre TV acting, poorly constructed tired formulaic episodic plots. Canadian blandness... nothing more than filler between advertisements. This one shouldn't be around for long.

Well I agree it can be a bit silly. But I would say it is quite a decent show, I'm ep 9 and will probably keep watching :)
A quality show where characters are 3 dimensional, plot requires some braincells to figure out, acting is good and yoiu h have time pass bcos you are entertained and engaged. The storylines could be more complex and exciting but other than that this shiw I fiound by accident shoukd not have been cancelled (as all good shows have been since 2000s). Reminds me of another show eg Bull, Instinct, APB which all had the same quality and vibe though Bull lasted way too long and APB got cut too short. yt
