Die Serie folgt dem Alltagsleben der Bundys. Al Bundy ist ein ehemaliger Highschool-Footballspieler, der sein Leben lang davon zehrt, auf der Polk High School in einem einzigen Spiel vier Touchdowns erzielt zu haben, und seit seiner Heirat gezwungen ist, seinen Unterhalt als Damenschuhverkäufer zu verdienen; seine stets arbeitsunwillige Frau Peggy ist bekannt für ihr hochtoupiertes rotes Haar, kitschig/trashige Kleidung und ihre starke Abneigung gegenüber dem eigenen Haushalt; schließlich die gemeinsamen Kinder Kelly – ihre ebenso attraktive wie stets begriffsstutzige Tochter – und Bud, der nicht sehr beliebte, aber durchaus intelligente jüngste Spross der Familie.

There are two kinds of sitcoms - the ones that you can watch every couple of years and still have good laughs about and then the ones you didn't even laugh at the first time. Now guess what this belongs to. What I love the most about it is the total lack of so-called political correctness. A show like this would be impossible today because there would be an outcry and commitees beeing formed to get this off the air. Oh what great were those times.
This show is seriously amazing, I've rewatched it several times and I still laugh at most of the jokes in an episode.
Onde of the Best TV shows from de 80’s and early 90’s. Reminds me of me childhood and adolescence.
If this came out today, it would be cancelled.
Classic show. Always nice to look at and plain stupid nice show. ;) Wenn du es baust wird er kommen :)
