Yet he still walks free…disgusting! Then you’re expected to believe in the justice system, what a messed up world we live in!
This guy is absolute scum, and unfortunately there’s a high chance that one day he’ll kill or cause the death of another woman. What’s also disgusting are the record labels that support him by downplaying what he did just because he brings in money. They’re sickening ! There’s no doubt there will be another ‘Cantat case’. It’s obvious !
His sentence was pretty short given it’s really obvious that he violently beat the woman to death. His former partner also died while he was present, and had previously had her house burnt down. The take away from this series for me (at the half way point) is that a “crime of passion” shouldn’t be a valid defense for murder. He intended to beat her about the face and head - her injuries were like a 120km motorbike accident - he intended to severely hurt her without regard for the consequences. That’s murder, not manslaughter.
