I know the subject matters of this show were awful & very upsetting, but from a story telling and video making perspective, it was interesting and well done. Having the interviews of the people (police & other civilians) directly involved with solving the crimes made this more personal too. The first episode made me tear up as well.

However, while the show has its strengths, it falls short in certain areas. The documentary lacks a cohesive narrative, and at times, it feels disjointed and difficult to follow. Additionally, the show could have benefited from more in-depth analysis and commentary from experts in the field. Despite its shortcomings, _Catching Killers_ is still a decent documentary that is worth watching for those interested in true crime stories.

After watching the series, I have the impression that in every second case the catching of the criminals was decided by chance/luck, and not by the operational work of the police.

I have been using Trakt for more than a year now and this is my first comment. I post this because there aren't comments about this serie and I find it so interesting. How in every episode the story behind each Killer evolves. Great video quality and edit, real footage and persons involved talking about the case. I could't stop watching each episode until I knew each whole story. If you are interested in crimes and serial killers I heavily recommend this documentary!
