Die kanadische Serie Family Law spielt in Vancouver und zeigt die Geschichte der Anwältin und ehemaligen Alkoholikerin Abigail Bianchi, die darum kämpft, ihre Karriere und ihre Familie wieder zusammenzubringen, nachdem sie den Tiefpunkt erreicht hat und in Haft gerät. Als Bedingung für ihre Bewährung ist Abby gezwungen, in der Firma ihres entfremdeten Vaters zu arbeiten, wo sie zum ersten Mal im Familienrecht praktiziert, während sie neue Beziehungen zu ihrem Halbbruder und ihrer Halbschwester aufbaut, die sie nie kennen gelernt hat. Das Endergebnis ist eine dysfunktionale Familienrechtskanzlei, die anderen Familien bei ihren eigenen Funktionsstörungen hilft.

This show deserves to have people watching it. It is very well done, with an excellent cast, and great dialog. Another exceptional Canadian production that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It's already into it's 4th season and I just randomly stumbled across it. So glad I did, but don't understand why there hasn't been more buzz about it. It's great tv, give it watch, you won't be disappointed. Oh ya ... and the theme song ... one of the best!! Tried ffwding through it, but just can't. Wanna sing along with it every time.
This was great really enjoyed the show and looking forward to the next season. I hope we going to get it
