It has STRONG Disney Channel energy. The writing (dialogues mainly) is not amazing, the acting gets better as the story goes on and some of the songs are EXTREMELY repetitive. But there are a couple good ones in there. And it's nice to see people who can actually play their instruments. If you grew up with High School Musical, this show will definitely make you nostalgic. I loved the chemistry between the guys. They were very funny and sweet. And the little brother. Total MVP.
Cute little show that I didn't anticipate to like, as I don't watch American shows over two years. The guys are so very young and so very handsome. Julie is a very good singer and I really loved the fact that every episode was spiced with songs and music. Of course, we didn't miss the cliches. jealous ex-best friend, very supportive current best friends, hidden first crush who secretly like the h too. What I didn't see happening are Alex and Wilie, and as a true fujoshi girl, I LOVED this plotline. I didn't get to have a kiss, from no one, but the series ended with a cliffhanger that hints for somethin' something next season if we'll get one. 7/10 from me as I'm not the targeted audience, maybe my 11 years old daughter.
I can't believe I love this shows, but that's happened. Too bad I don't get to see what will happen next to the band 😑
