A fun show where you quickly forget that Beetlejuice and Lydia were never friends in the movie. Here they actually celebrate their year anniversary being friends. Beetlejuice is a loyal friend in this who is always there for Lydia. He does at least keep the crude and obnoxious personality. Which is why the show works. With plenty of kooky humor that’s more aimed at kids. The show manages to be faithful to the Beetlejuice universe. Even Lydia will probably never be friends with Beetlejuice in the movies.
