if I'm being honest, it was really boring.
Crime, thriller, action.... none of those. Psychological drama is what it is. First 50 minutes are simply boring. It's one long slow trip of regret. Then there's 5 minutes of action and... that's it. A bit crime. Back to the slow drama.
First time I’ve ever been bored by a Liam Neeson film, yes great acting but boring boring boring.
A journey marked by guilt, regret and the search for redemption. The movie has a good narrative, even though it embraces predictability and various clichés. However, no one uses these clichés with such ease and precision as Liam Neeson; his performance is great and convincingly conveys the weight his character carries. The plot reveals itself as a deeply melancholic experience, creating a cadenced rhythm and constant discomfort.
I guess Neeson being big name on the movie invited the wrong audience. But nice to see him in something different. However I wouldn't call it a action. there's literally like only one action scene. But it was great. The whole time i was waiting for what would happen next, and the cinematography was incredible.
