It came from a play and should have stayed a play.
These two with unfinished business should just leave it in the snow storm and move on with their lives. The airport announcer is really annoying, not funny.
The continuity or lack thereof was such a distraction I was watching that more than the movie. Shirt in, shirt out, shirt ironed, shirt crumpled.... did they even have a continuity person. Is it possible to be intrigued and bored at the same time? this is a movie that could have gone so many ways, and a part that tuck was just disappointing
Mostly a Boring watch! Meg Ryan’s 2nd movie as a director, unfortunately it showed. The dialogue between the two characters in the first and second act wasn’t enjoyable considering its a rom-com there wasn’t any charm or anything funny exchanged between the two. The airport announcer was a strange idea and felt unnecessary. The third act had the best moments especially when dealing with the emotional side unlike the rest of the movie which simply didn’t.
The Langoliers meets boomer-vibe romcom
