Solid remake of Hitchcock's 1928 "talkie". They paid some neat homages to the original film but I'll leave it to those who aren't afraid to watch silent films.

I enjoyed Jessica Biels character and it was rather enjoyable at the beginning. The humor of the differences and the rivalry. The back and forth. But as it progressed it became less and less enjoyable. The husband was quite a let down and the ending was quite expecting. The thing that made the whole ending odd though, was what happened with the father. She could have driven off into the sunset and the ending would have been expected yet acceptable. It should have been a bitter sweet ending but the whole thing with the dad made it all awkward and suspect
