Handlung
Jerry Maguire ist der Erfolgsmagnet der Sportagentur SMI. Er hat die prominentesten Kunden und fährt die höchsten Umsätze ein. Auch privat ist der Sonnyboy auf Gold gestoßen: seine attraktive Verlobte Avery ist sehr ehrgeizig, sowohl nach beruflichen wie auch erotischen Höhepunkten. Doch als Jerry eine couragierte Schrift über einen neuen, humaneren Kurs von SMI vorlegt, ist seine Glückssträhne jäh zu Ende: fristlose Kündigung! Nun zeigt sich das Leben von seiner häßlichen Seite, denn nur der Footballer Rod und die Ex-Buchhalterin Dorothy halten Jerry die Treue. Und der kämpft unverdrossen um Ruhm, Erfolg und eine neue wunderbare Liebe...

What a classic! They don't make movies like that anymore, times have changed. It's not about sports as much as it is about being loyal to your principles, heart, integrity and importance of the family.

>"I just want to be inspired." This is a classic with so many memorable lines that have been quoted for 2 decades. If you have seen other Cameron Crow movies you can tell immediately that this is his film by the cinematography to the storytelling. Fun fact: Didn't realize until this rewatch that it is based on an actual sports agent that represented Troy Aikmen.
