This was my first proper dive into a Bollywood film, and honestly, it was a fun, mindless ride. It’s extremely over the top, but once you stop expecting seriousness and just accept it as a self-satirical fever dream, it actually becomes pretty entertaining. The movie feels like it's constantly veering off course in the weirdest ways, and that unpredictability keeps it fun. The characters are mostly likable, even if the acting doesn’t always hit. The story, on the other hand, doesn’t try hard enough to make you care, it’s just not that deep or emotionally engaging. But that's kind of the point here. It's wacky, wild, and easy to watch, the kind of thing you can throw on when you’re in the mood for something bizarre and light. If you're curious about Indian cinema and want to ease into it with something chaotic and entertaining without needing to engage too deeply, this one’s not a bad place to start. You’re not going to walk away changed, but you might walk away amused.

Cheap fucking tricks. Had a good first half and it should have ended there. Nonsense, unnecessary plot the whole second half. Could have been solid mass movie if first half was it's own movie. Rajni was awesome as always but even he can't save this shitshow of second half.

I can not figure out how this film made 100s of cores? Superstar still has his style but definitely nowhere near Petra

Rajni has delivered a must watch movie for fans after a long time. He has had a bad run because what used to work for him didnt as he was aging and it wasnt realistic to see him do the stuff he did in the 90s. Jailer, has a great cast. The appearance of big stars in smaller roles, seems like a set up for their own movies. Which will be great of course, if they get a decent story for those movies. Humor is great. Rajni and Yogi Babu are awesome together. Action sequences are realistic for Rajni's age. Worth the watch.

As a big fan, I found the cast's performance in "Jailor" impressive. The movie is engaging from start to finish, with unexpected twists that keep you interested. Even though some parts are predictable, it all ties together well. I'd suggest giving this film a watch. Director Nelson shows again that stars don't need flashy performances; they just need to fit into the story and match his dark humor. The music director deserves credit for making this great film even better, especially with contributions from our superstar...
