London, Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts.

it's a special movie, so emotional and sweet, the acting is brilliant
What a wonderful and emotional movie. I completely ignored it in 2004 and only watched this just now. But I think this was actually a good thing because I was very much into other kind of movies and couldn't possibly appreciated it the way I did now.
This is such a beautifully crafted story that truly captures the magic of imagination and creativity. The performances are outstanding, with every actor bringing depth and heart to their roles. Freddie Highmore, in particular, stands out, remarkably young at the time, but delivering a captivating performance.
The movie is rather magical when you get a glimpse into the making of Peter Pan. In the other moments.... it is just ok. It was good to see Depp in an understated role. follow me at https:??IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
What at terrific yet original twist on the famous Peter and the Pan story, as it follows the alleged writer of the Peter Pan story and how the story all comes about, but more so how it changed his life. While the plot development was a bit confusing at first, the biggest attribute of this film is the way J.M. Barrie's imagination is expressed to make the kid's and his imagination come to life together and tell how the Peter Pan story is bigger than life. But outside of that it was a bit predictable.
