What an absolute treat it was to see these two marvelous actors on screen together for a couple of hours. At first it is Streep who draws the attention as the neglected and timid wife. As the movie goes on, we see Jones take center stage in a role that I wished we saw him play much more often. I always knew that he was a fabulous actor - I had no idea that he had those kinds of chops. In a lot of ways, the movie reminded me of Marriage Story. A classic story about a couple that have lived themselves apart. The movie is though above average due to the excellent performances from Jones and Streep.
