Watching myself in the mirror was more scarier than this movie No fear,no suspense,weak character development.

Not scary at all, very predictable and a lame tired old storyline. 2/10.

Go in blind! *Succession* (for dummies) meets *Supernatural*. ***The Inheritance*** is nothing original, in fact it's quite generic and it's everything you expect it to be based on the title and the fact that it's a horror movie but I had a good time nonetheless. It most likely won't work for everyone but this movie actually scared me a couple times, the huge mansion with dark corners mixed with lots of entity sightings in said corners made this an easy scare. A case of location making all the difference and I liked seeing all the different creepy rooms. Nice look for the entity, simple but effective. The characters are shallow but they fit a steriotype that entertains. The kills aren't really gory but they all have a unique event surrounding them that feels satisfying. Some bad decision making from certain characters that was frustrating. Really good pacing and I was never bored actually. Alright score, nice camerawork, fairly good-looking movie and passable acting. While I actually didn't predict the big twist I wonder how I didn't think about it because it's so cliché. Still, I found this quite entertaining and the scares did the job.
