A waste of time. The worst ending ever.

Can't believe I managed to sit through this. The premise was pretty standard "let's go and visit a haunted place" fare, but aside from Lex, there's no depth to the characters so you don't really give a crap about them. Sam is just annoying, Bree is bland and Chris just looks out of place. It also has one of the worst endings I've seen in a movie. Having built a story around the plot it feels like it just gives up and there is no explanation as to why it ends as it does. Thankfully it's only 75 minutes long, although I'm not getting that back any time soon! Steer clear.

Awful script, terrible acting, baffling editing choices, it's dumb but I actually had a fun time with this. It's so cheesy and turned out to be very entertaining thanks to its creepy abandoned resort location and beautiful scenery with few fun scares and cool practical effects and make-up. The performances from the cast are hilariously unconvincing but at least they're all attractive. The short runtime is always a plus and I really enjoy that campy ending. I'm impressed by the amount of questionable 2021 horror releases on Hulu.
