Kalki is one of the coolest Indian movies I’ve ever seen! It completely surpassed my expectations with its gripping storyline, dynamic action sequences, and brilliant performances. The blend of intense drama with stylish direction had me hooked from start to finish. VFX could've been better, but I'm not complaining. 8/10.
Kamal Hassan could play a tree and still have the most commanding screen presence. Three stars for the effort and visuals. The visuals were incredible and set new standards on screen, with impressive elevations, but the emotions fell short.
Ambitious, and Nag Ashwin delivers. First half is slow and nothing really happens. Easily could have been a shorter movie. But oh boy once it takes off, it goes berserk. VFX is not the best but it is the best to come out from an Indian cinema till date. Loved the whole flashback of war sequence, duel between Big B and Prabhas. Bachchan sahab owns every scene he's in Huge respect to the team who made this movie a reality and hopefully inspired a lot more. New benchmark in Indian sci fi fantasy genre. Ready for more.
Kalki 2898 AD is a visually stunning and ambitious dystopian sci-fi film that blends ancient Indian mythology with a futuristic narrative. Featuring some groundbreaking visual effects and production values that set a new benchmark for Indian cinema, in the sci fi genre. Even though Prabhas' performance is okayish , his screen presence and Bachchan's fiery portrayal of Ashwathama stands out. Deepika's character is underdeveloped in this edition while the suprising cameos are a delight. The film's narrative spans millennia, from the events of the Mahabharata to a dystopian 2898 AD, can be lauded for its compelling storytelling and emotional depth. The first half is somewhat bearable due to the world building but humour falls out of place. The second half is spectacular with the right amount of action and engaging encounters. Overall, Kalki 2898 AD can be hailed as a visually captivating experience that is likely to resonate well with audiences, especially in the Telugu and Hindi markets. The ambitious scale and blend of Indian Mythology makes a it a promising entry to the genre. Don't miss the mid credit scene. Definitely worth a watch 💥 Instagram @streamgenx
