Heartbreakingly sad as you can probably expect.

This movie was a bit odd in that Bunny was ultimately neither a tragic figure nor a sympathetic figure. She had some bad breaks but she clearly wasn't helping herself. [D'A FF'22] Although the approach may seem like a television melodrama, the director manages to avoid all the commonplaces of this type of story. The protagonist is a misfit who, when she "disguises", has privileged access to circles that are usually denied to her because of her appearance. In this way, some optimistic elements and a sense of humor are extracted from the evident drama that Bunny's experience supposes, reinforcing, if possible, the strength of a radical character.
