Through the true story of Carlton Pearson, the film raises big theological questions...questions that can provoke the Christian into thought and reflection, or downright refusal to challenge concepts they have long been taught. Is there a Hell? The Bible says there is. Do you have to be saved to go to Heaven? The Bible says you do. Yet, the Bible also speaks of a loving God with infinite grace. Therefore, how can God let the unsaved go to Hell? I don't have the answer, yet I have been on both sides of the argument and debated with myself internally. Yet this is what I do know. Jesus loves me, because the Bible tells me so, and He loves you too. The film will offer you no answers, but it should provoke thought, be you Christian or non-Christian. Either way, I pray God guides your thinking as you debate the film's themes for the world, as well as for yourself.
