When a pregnant woman, Sonia, gets on a crowded bus, she expects somebody to man up and offer her his seat. However, nobody seems to pay heed to her. She walks up to a person, Masood, seated alongside his son and asks him to give her the seat. Though there was no subtlety in how she demanded it as if he owed her, his reply was gentle and to the point. He refused to oblige, leading to her lashing out at him. [spoiler] The bus jerks suddenly at that moment, leading Sonia to lose balance and topple onto Masood's lap. He tries to grab hold of her, visibly with no ill intentions. [/spoiler] [spoiler] However, this infuriates Sonia and she accuses him of harassing her and starts recording a video to post online. The crowd of men and women simply watch in silence and join in on recording the whole incident from afar. That is when a woman who seems to be Sonia's acquaintance steps forward and asks Sonia to sit with her in the ladies' section. They sit down in the crowded area and Sonia starts complaining about the man groping her. Her friend tries to put some sense into her, suggesting that it may not necessarily be what had happened. Masood then tries to walk up to her and reconcile, requesting that she kindly delete the video. [/spoiler] Sonia declines it harshly since he has not apologized to her. Things take an unexpected turn when the bus jerks again and she falls on to the floor this time. [spoiler] The men all watch with their cameras out and pointing at her whilst Masood is the only one who rushes to her aid and covers up the view with a dupatta. [/spoiler]
