Just an okay movie, not really bad but not good either. Couldn't really get attached to the characters, honestly expected a bit much. [spoiler]Jean Reno's role is also smaller than i expected.[/spoiler]

Really like this police movie. Just as good as the tv show BRAQUE.

In which the French try to copy a sub-par American cop film and fail miserably. Riddled with clichés, fraught with sentimentality, and infested with procedural errors in the writing, Rogue City won't waste your time, it'll kill it so hard that it'll make it wish it had never been born.

A good French cop movie that goes off the rails. It starts with a solid shootout in Marseille, followed by a manhunt for the killers who belong to a gang — and then everything spirals out of control. The cops turn into corrupt officers with unconventional methods, forced to cover for each other to survive. Added to the mix are the troubles from their personal lives. In short, the film builds up in intensity… but who will come out on top in the end? The crooked cops or the mafia?
