If you want to test your patience with some spoiled brat kids with a parent who's afraid to discipline her kids but make it Christmas-y, then watch this film. I see this film is trying their best to show lesson and depth story but I'm not really feeling it.

2024 Christmas Film #2: Continuing with my November dive into "Crappy Christmas" films—those holiday movies with intriguing hooks but IMDb ratings under 6—I watched *Holiday Rush*, and surprisingly, I didn’t mind it! Romany Malco brings his usual charm, and Sonequa Martin-Green, known from *Star Trek: Discovery*, adds a nice dynamic. Despite their 15-year age gap, their on-screen chemistry works well. That said, Sonequa’s character is mostly there to laugh and support, which limits her depth a bit. The movie does start to drag mid-second act, losing some momentum when it should be building toward the finale. But all in all, it’s a sweet, harmless holiday flick. If you’re stuck watching a Christmas movie with a sub-6 IMDb rating, you could do worse!
