The Movie is best discriped with the words "viel gutes dabei". in my oppinion too much story was cramped in the 92 minutes, especially in the beginning. you can say it takes place in an alternate timeline. many things were the same as in the books, but it felt like the Känguru Apocryphen. many untold story and the known parts were from another point of view. But the Movie made me genuend laugh like in "the naked canon". Some jokes were forced and but most filled the hole cinema burst in laughter. And because it is a comedy movie i give it an 8. Couse you cant compare a comedy movie with movies like Interstellar, or LotR It did its job and filled me with pure joy

I definitely expected more. I hope the books are better

I didn't read the books nor have listened to the audio-books, so I can't tell how faithful the movie is to the source material. It was funny and I really loved the political statements, but: - some jokes were very flat - there was no chemistry in the love story - the end sucked The characters feel also very superficial and have no depth. +1 for the Nazi-jokes, else would have given it a 6.

Die Hörbücher sind ein absoluter Hit und sind schon fast kult. Der Film kommt da leider nicht so wirklich heran aber er macht dennoch Spaß und er ist sehr kurzweilig.
