My wife and I watch movies. Ok, a lot of movies. We've kind of developed a pattern where the friday night film will be something that is a little riskier - maybe an indie with only a few reviews, maybe something that might be high-risk and high-reward. Either way, we tend to take more chance on friday night. I could only find one review for this film and it positive so we gave it a look. I loved it. It had all the trappings of so many indie films - it was quirky, rough around the edges and probably involved some questionable casting (although I came around on some of the characters by the end). Indie films can get away with something that Hollywood films cannot - they can kind of meander through the story without necessarily spelling out where they are going for the viewer. The film was also unique in that it spent a fair amount of time addressing the difficulties that men face in the dating world. In this regard it reminded me a lot of High Fidelity, although in this film they showed a brotherhood of men in the common struggle. This is probably what endeared the film to me the most. follow me at https://IHateBadMovies.com or facebook IHateBadMovies
