I might have been able to give it more of a score and rate it higher if I could see what was happening. However, the last 20 minutes or so were pretty much a black screen with one small illuminated area. Decent plot was lost with poor lighting.

This is what I call a hidden gem. The Lost Footage of Leah Sullivan may be a humble found-footage movie, but it delivered so much enjoyment. The characters feel incredibly real and likable, making it easy to get fully immersed in the story. Their performances were outstanding. I loved the main duo and genuinely cared about them, which is a rare case in this type of movies. The mystery behind the murders was well-crafted, revealing just enough without giving everything away too soon. I’m also glad the creators avoided loud, cheap jump scares—the scares were there, believe me, and they were enough. This movie truly deserves more love.
