Handlung
Tori und ihr Mann Kyle wollten schon immer ein leibliches Kind haben, doch ihr großer Wunsch ging nie in Erfüllung. Als in der Nähe ihrer Farm aber eine Art Komet einschlägt, scheint es, als habe das Schicksal ihre Gebete erhört. Denn darin befindet sich ein menschlich aussehendes Baby, das das Paar umgehend zu sich nimmt und aufzieht, als sei es ihr eigenes Kind. Zwölf Jahre später müssen Tori und Kyle aber feststellen, dass ihr Adoptivsohn Brandon anders ist als seine Altersgenossen. So scheint der Zwölfjährige nicht bluten zu können. Zudem weist Brandon immer mehr Verhaltensstörungen auf. Die Adoptiveltern müssen sich daher mit dem Gedanken auseinandersetzen, dass ihr Sohn ein außerirdisches Wesen aus dem All und daher unberechenbar ist…

This is a decent low budget horror movie with a unique twist on the Superman story. Nothing really special but worth a watch.

All of the intrest in this movie comes from the premise, kid superman but evil and that's what this movie is and that's really all this movie is. It has moments of attempting to be real or show emotion but it continually failed. Really all you have here is a kid with the abilities of superman attempting to kill everyone and that's it nothing more, so if u can enjoy that check this out, if u need more i'd say skip it.

One of the worst films ever. It gives no explanation, purpose, or premise. It was as if the budget got slashed during filming. Sad. At least it was short.

This movie is a waste of time. It had potencial, but the nonsensical script ruined any chance of it being good at all. EDIT: And now I checked what other movies the writters of this movie did... And I am not surprised at all!! I have been duped. This one shouldn't have passed the selection filter. I've made a BIG mistake with this one. =|

Remember the times when movies was made for fun? Just to have like 90 minutes popcorn-time? I don't get the "this idea has much more in it" comments. Brightburn is a perfect one nighter with great amount of gore and humour (hello, James Gunn!), I really can't complain here (maybe because I'm not a hardcore comic-movie fan, who sees a flying kiddo and want a super dark 9 hour trilogy about him).
