Handlung
Mick Haller ist ein halbwegs erfolgreicher Strafverteidiger, der aus einem Lincoln Town Car heraus arbeitet, das von einem ehemaligen Klienten gefahren wird, der seine Schulden dadurch abbezahlt. Bisher hat er seinen Unterhalt nur durch kleine Fische und Hobbyganoven finanziert, sieht aber in Louis Roulet seine Chance, sein Leben in andere Bahnen zu lenken. Louis, Playboy aus Beverly Hills und Sohn eines einflussreichen Vaters, soll eine Prostituierte brutal verprügelt haben. Der einst so simple Fall entpuppt sich jedoch schon bald als tödliches Spiel für Haller...

Saw this in theaters. Thought it was laughably terrible, just perfect fodder for bad movie podcasts. For years I've seen this thing highly regarded; hell it's at 83% on RT. so I decided to give it another go. I don't know what I was thinking, this movie is a blast! Now I get why some credit it with kicking off the mcconasaince or however the hell you say it. It really is the perfect Mac movie, he plays a cocksure lawyer with nothing but charm and swagger. Great time. Don't know what Kurtis from 2011 til today was thinking! Great movie!

Great movie, really enjoyed watching this. Good acting, nice story. Not to complicated or boring like some other lawyer movies.
