The action scenes are pretty good but they are too few and far between. What we get to fill the time is boring and pointless. Denzel is fine but he doesn't give the same performance he gave before. The first he had these little quirks that made him different. This one it felt like they just didn't care and made him a normal bland badass. I liked it better after a rewatch.

Genuinely a great movie as can be expected from Denzel Washington, an edgy thriller keeps you on your toes. A sequel better then the original that pulls you in emotionally and intellectually, multiple plots leading to a hell of an ending. If you haven't seen it then your missing out cause its an entertaining movie.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure why the first Equalizer deserved a sequel. With this movie, everything just moves way to slow. It takes way too long to actually get going. The action scenes are, of course, entertaining, but they aren't enough to save this film.

Well I expected more action on this sequel. Equalizer 1 was better.
