You know that feeling when you see a new movie and you feel you have seen everything before?!? Well...The Secret Life of Pets gives me that feeling in spades. It's not that it looks or sounds bad, it's not that characters aren't funny, but everything feels so damn uninspired... The voices are the worst offender. Everything sounds the same, and you get the feeling the voice actors were very bored when doing this movie. The animation gets a pass as it's not bad, but there's a whole lot of movies out there at the moment that does things better. The story isn't all that good, but at least it wasn't all that boring. I actually laughed out loud at a couple of gags. The thing is...I've seen most of the gags in other movies. I can't really recommend this one, but if you have someone around you that wants to see it, you won't die from watching it...

The film was okay but it walks a road well travelled... animal gets lost, its friends try to find it, wicked animal catchers etc. There are some funny moments but I expected more.

OMG! I loved it. Is was so funny. Kevin Hart makes mi laugh so much. He was adorable and super crazy.

Now this movie isn't a woof, i might be a 27 year old man, but i still have a child in me, and i can say i bloody loved this movie, it's all so true on how they show the pets, you can relate to it if you're pet owner or not.. brings you so much comedy all the way through.. loved it!!

This was a really cute movie – the animations are great, especially because they don't try to be too realistic but use all the cliches that pet owners very well know and probably how they imagine their pets to behave when they're not at home ;)
