I kept expecting it to go the usual revenge route… it doesn’t. It starts simple enough, loss, anger, that need for justice, but then it just sits in that darkness and keeps digging deeper. No relief, no clean hero-villain line, just people making choices and living with them. And that’s what makes it uncomfortable. You don’t really “root” for anyone after a point, you just watch how far it goes. Some scenes just stay. The way it handles consequences, time, guilt… it doesn’t rush to give answers. Varun Dhawan shows here that he surely can act and Nawaj played his character to perfection. I thought it would be satisfying. It’s not that. It’s something else, and yeah, it works.
