Well shot and atmospheric. Simple characterisations. The story isn't that interesting and kind of plods but it's still compelling because of the way its shot. The coLouis are great. Slow in places maybe. Judd is genuinely creepy at times and at other times he's just stupid, and I didn't mind that. It's the type of horror that can traumatise a child. In fact I'm sure I say that because I'm convinced I did watch this very young. First half is better. The second missed something to elevate the movies plot.
