Jenifer is one of two hour-long episodes Argento made for the TV show Masters of Horror, but don’t let that keep you from watching it. This one is actually quite decent…for a TV production. Believe it or not, this is actually adapted from a comic book story by Bruce Jones and Bernie Wrightson. If you don’t believe me, check out Creepy #63 AFTER you have seen Jenifer. Anyway, talking too much about this one, will actually spoil it, so I’m not going to do that, but… It’s actually rather nasty, looks alright, the acting is decent, and the music… Well, it’s there. It’s actually one of the better Masters of Horror Episodes from Season 1, and should be checked out by all Argento fans.

I knew I had seen this several years back on Netflix; I didn't realize I was watching _Masters of Horror_ all over again, only this time on TubiTV. This particular episode was creepy/grotesque back then and still is today. Granted, there are holes in the plot that are big enough to drive a truck through (for instance, how is it the neighbor's little girl disappears yet the cops never show up to investigate?) but in spite of that, this was still a creepy film. You kind of saw the ending coming from some distance off but - like the aforementioned plot holes - that wasn't enough to detract from it being a passable "creepy" movie. The makeup effects on Carrie Fleming....how in the world they turned her into something that grotesque was a masterpiece in itself. I could have done without most of the sex scenes and nudity (it added absolutely nothing to the story and you could've figured out what was happening without it being so graphic) but unless you're REALLY averse to seeing that stuff, I would say this is worth an hour of your time. Watch it during your Lunch break at work, like I did. That way you'll at least get paid for it.

I just couldn’t get into this one, on the boring side for me.
