Handlung
Bake Baker war früher professioneller Steptänzer, trägt jetzt aber die Seemannskluft. Auf Landurlaub mit seinen Kameraden findet er seine frühere Partnerin Sherry Martin in einer miesen Tanzhalle wieder. Er kann sie überreden, für eine Benefiz-Show an Bord zu kommen. Bei der Tanznummer 'Let's Dance' gleiten sie wie in alten Zeiten über das Parkett und entdecken auch wieder ihre Gefühle füreinander.

The stars of this movie are Ginger Rogers, the monkey, and then Fred Astaire... in that order. I regretfully have to doc 1 star from this rating because the monkey doesn't get it's credit.

I will admit that this isn't one of my favorites when it comes to Fred Astaire and Ginger Roberts films. It's a good film, with lots of fun dancing, but the truth is that there are just other movies of theirs that I like better. This is another film where the Astaire and Rogers romance takes the backstage, in this case the primary romance is for Roger's sister. Having said that, it's still a fun film with great dancing, and a good reccomendations for fans of Astaire and Rogers
