That's a slow paced crime story, which value resides mainly on it's cast and the performance of the main actors. Also Suzanne Flon gives a nice performance is a support role The final reveal fells a bit flat, but the atmosphere of the movie is rather interesting. And the way Molinat gets rid of Leroyer, rather diabolical ([spoiler] It's rather obvious he know who the murderer is when he send him alone in their house to "ask questions"[/spoiler]). I can't blame him, since Leroyer is quite an asshole, it's rather satisfying to see him reaped what he sowed. Not quite a great movie, but still enjoyable enough, and it's always nice to what Philippe Noiret :)
