26 neue Regisseure.

I did not expect me saying this but this round of VHS vs. ABC goes to the latter. The sequel is an improvement with a bit shorter run time, less weird/unfunny stuff and more consistent segments. Out of the 26 I only felt like 4 of those were god awful but I also felt the above average ones got fewer too. If Álex de la Iglesia and Shion Sono would have done their segments I'm certain it would be different :(.
Really liked the idea of 26 different directors and the premise. You can see the creativity each short has and what they did with the letter they got. Of course some shorts are better and more disturbing than others but over all I enjoyed it.
I don't know why in the world I waste time watching puke like this. There are far better movies out there, and this mess didn't even qualify as interesting. Just flat out BAD.
Twenty-six new film shorts explore the macabre in ABCs of Death 2. As with the last film, 26 directors (using various styles and genres) present a series of vignettes related to death. However, they’re not as clever as before, or as daring. The majority are fairly straightforward killings, with a supernatural element here or there. Yet there are a few exceptions (such as Amateur or Ochlocracy) that take interesting turns. Still, for the most part the film’s a gratuitous exorcise in violence and gore. A pale imitation of its predecessor, ABCs of Death 2 lacks the edginess and horrific imagination of the original.
This movie is made of 26 shorts, one for each letter of the alphabet. Not all of them work, but the nice thing is, when one of them is bad, it's over quickly and the viewer gets to move on to the next story. Some of them are grisly, others disturbing, some shocking, it's a nice mix. When I finished watching all 26, I felt satisfied and had enjoyed the movie as a whole.
