Paris, 1836: Die emanzipatorische Schriftstellerin George Sand lernt über Franz Liszt den scheuen Fréderic Chopin kennen. Von dem Komponisten fasziniert, ahnt sie nicht, dass sie in ihrer Bekannten Marie d'Agoult eine neidische Rivalin hat. Rather compelling with an all star cast showing off their comedic chops. I'm glad I have this witty period piece about Chopin and trouser-wearing authoress George Sand a chance and would watch again.
