Keira Knightleys accent is distractingly bad. This movie made me feel nothing which is impressive for a drama.

_The Edge of Love_ is an insipid and pretentious semi-biographical period drama. The story follows two couples who meet and become friends during the London bombings in World War II, and become separated by war and have their relationships tested. The script tries to sound witty and elegant, but comes off as shallow and conceited. Starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, and Cillian Murphy, the film has a strong cast, but there’s no passion or depth to their performances. And, the directing is uneven; coming off as a blend of several different styles, often drawing attention to itself. Boring and rather monotonous, _The Edge of Love_ is a muddled mess that tries to say something war and love but ends up as gibberish.
