I feel like this movie lacked any kind of passion. I know that may sound really mean but this felt so unbelievably dry. I don’t really see any point in this either. It’s kind of boring from start to finish. It’s not that it’s poorly made because it’s not. It just felt like it lacked anything that was worth watching. I didn’t feel any emotion at all watching this. Matt Dillon and Naomi Watts are both excellent and easily the best thing about this movie. Despite the great performances from them neither of their characters were even that likable. I just never found myself caring for anyone or anything in this movie.
