I found the film surprisingly enjoyable. I enjoyed seeing how much of a miserable mess my life is, without love or anyone. It served its purpose. Now I'm going to sleep sad and with tears in my eyes to wake up tomorrow to another day of an empty and meaningless life.

I watched this because I noticed that Chase Stokes from Outer Banks had a lead role in this. It is perfect for romance lovers. It’s opposites attract, childhood friends to lovers with found family, making it the perfect choice for a movie adaptation. This movie tackles tough topics like grief, family expectations, and commitment issues. The romance is intense, the emotions are raw, and the characters' growth is authentic. Shaw and Rule's story is messy, real, and relatable. They are from different worlds, but their connection is undeniable. I haven’t read the book, so I can’t say if it stayed true to the material. I would’ve liked to see more depth and backstory. I was a little confused about Rule’s twin brother. Marked Men is based on a 6-book series by Jay Crownover, maybe we will see other couples from this universe in future movies.

No, but you're sick? This movie is fabulous! I loved it, the actors play so well. Chase is amazing, we already knew it with OuterBanks and Uglies but it only confirms and so happy to see him again in a romance! That's not all. The movie was very well done and I really enjoyed Rule compared to everyone. He's really cute, yes he's not perfect, but we understand that he's marked by his past. Do you compare this movie to After? But isn't it okay? Nothing to have! Much less toxic... Anyway thank you for selling it like this because I was even more surprised by this quality.
