[Raindance '25] Following his previous film, this collection of four independent stories attempts to address social and political themes beyond references to Asian folklore and traditions. Throughout the four episodes that make up the anthology, the director addresses topics such as corruption, the passage of time, hate crimes, and the social structures that cause inequalities, making the whole interesting beyond the unsettling atmosphere it may achieve. Overall, it's a new collection of powerful stories that speak to the human condition based on the folkloric traditions of Bangladesh, but whose themes are equally recognizable in Western societies.
